Bullying and Hate Crimes
4th-12th grades
(students and or parents)

Description: A program designed to increase awareness about bullying and gives students the grade-appropriate skills they need to prevent and stop it.

Objectives:

• To define the difference between ordinary conflict and bullying
• To teach students to build effective communication skills and conflict resolution techniques
• To teach students to help a victim of bullying, including asking an adult for help
• To teach students how to apply these skills to their online social interactions with their peers
